Refund policy
AVA Ready is a one-time paid scan. We want every customer to get a report they can actually use. If the scan didn't produce useful results, reply to your receipt within 14 days and we'll refund you.
When we refund
We issue a full refund in these cases:
- The scan failed to complete (technical error, timeout, or the site blocked our scanner and we couldn't return a useful report).
- The report came back as a "Directional scan" or "Needs work" primarily because the site is JavaScript-rendered, behind a bot wall, or otherwise opaque to our crawler, and the report didn't give you actionable findings.
- You paid by mistake, paid for the wrong domain, or the scan ran on a domain you didn't intend.
We may also refund at our discretion in cases not covered above. If you're unsure whether your situation qualifies, reach out and we'll work it out.
How to request a refund
Reply to your receipt email or write to help@avaready.com from the email address you used at checkout. Include either the receipt number from your Stripe receipt or the domain you scanned, so we can locate the charge.
We respond within two business days. Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method and typically arrive in 5-10 business days, depending on your bank.
What's not refundable
We don't refund scans that completed successfully and produced a full report just because you disagree with the findings or recommendations. The product is the report; if you got the report, you got the product. That said, if anything in the report looks factually wrong, please tell us — we'll investigate and re-run the scan at no charge if there's a bug.
We also can't refund Stripe processing fees on charges older than 120 days, because Stripe doesn't return them to us at that point. In practice this only matters if you waited more than four months to ask; the 14-day window above is the relevant policy.
